Program Description: Some things never go out of style. A pearl necklace. A denim jacket. A little black dress. And a beautifully crafted black and white image.
Have you ever felt like your monochrome images are falling short and you struggle to put your finger on exactly why? In this class, we will discuss the creation of black and white portraits from consultation all the way through to the final presentation.Covered topics include educating the client, clothing choices, lighting, location, post processing and more. By the end of the class,you will feel inspired and ready to incorporate beautiful black and white images into your session.
About Danny: Danny Leary has been a professional photographer for over 25 years and has held the title of Professional Photographers of America Master Photographer since 2015. He has been decorated with many honors over the years, including being named Professional Photographers of WV’s Photographer of The Year twice and a Finalist at Professional Photographers of America’s Grand Imaging Awards.
With a focus on steering clear of too much digital manipulation, Danny strives to make topnotch, well crafted natural photos using the foundations of good photography. Beautiful light and dynamic composition. Flattering poses and natural editing are at the heart of his best work.
Danny also endeavors to elevate the art, craft and profession of Photography in the face of technology. He has reverted back to shooting film for many of his projects and strives for authenticity in his work.
