INSPIRE Annual Convention and CAPTURE Fall Meeting
INSPIRE
INSPIRE is the PPA of PA’s Annual Convention and Image Competition held each spring. Our talent committee works hard to bring in top speakers and image competition judges from around the country. Breaks between programs feature snacks and a chance to mingle with other photographers. Image Competition awards, PPA of PA degree awards, PPA of PA service awards, new membership certificates, and the Golden Bell awards are presented during the banquet. The membership meeting is also held during this event and the ability to earn a Continuing Education Merit, making this the one DON’T MISS opportunity of the year!
CAPTURE
CAPTURE is held during the fall and features a schedule packed with speakers! Although the schedule may be full, time between programs is an excellent chance to connect with fellow photographers. The CAPTURE Image Competition offers participants the opportunity to have their images evaluated by a panel of highly experienced and qualified judges.
Monthly Meetings
Monthly membership meetings offer a variety of topics and speakers throughout the year.
From business classes to drone photography and everything in between, our monthly membership meetings ensure a wide range of specialties are addressed and all photographers benefit from membership in our association!

The PPA of PA is happy to offer full digital entries for those not wanting to incur the expense and hassle of traditional print competitions.

In addition to category winners receiving trophies, awards include PPA of PA Image Maker of the Year, Fuji Masterpiece Award, American Society of Photographers State Elite Award, and Professional Photographers of America’s CPP Award.

Golden Bell
The Golden Bell pin is awarded to those who actively participate in events held throughout the year by the PPA of PA. Events are given point levels in varying amounts, and when a member reaches a total of 200 points, he is awarded a Golden Bell pin at the next Annual Awards Banquet!
